Description TSC-300 adhesive is a non-flammable one-part water based special formula adhesive designed for the installation of AZO All Weather Carpet products, which contain sodium potassium soap in their natural rubber backings. The adhesive has superior water resistance after curing and can be used outdoors or indoors, above-, on-, or below grade, provided the subfloor is dry, has a suitable water barrier, and is free of hydrostatic pressure.

Applications For permanent installations subject to golf spikes, skis, skates, rolling loads such as under office chairs; in auto showrooms; for airport entrances; pool areas or extra heavy traffic. Subfloor Preparation: Use over sub-floors of plywood, concrete, or hardboard. Do not use adhesive where there is a presence of excessive moisture. Remove all dirt, grease, oil, wax, dust, or any foreign matter. Concrete subfloors should be absorbent, smooth and level, and fully cured (for at least 30 days) and dry <3 lb./ 1000 sft. moisture per Calcium Chloride Test. Concrete should not be coated with curing or sealing compounds, and subfloors must be free from moisture or hydrostatic pressure. Installation Carpet, floor, and adhesive must be conditioned above 65-700F prior to installation. Apply with a 3 32" x 3 32" x 1/8" U-notched carpet adhesive trowel, coarser (5 32" or larger V-Notch) trowel if installing over rough or textured surfaces. Lay the carpet into set adhesive.. Measure and confirm usage of 80-100 sft./gallon adhesive. Spread only enough area so that open Time of 10-15 minutes is not exceeded. Do not entrap air and check for adhesive transfer - there should be an even amount of adhesive on floor and back of carpet. Smooth the bonded area with firm, even pressure, using the hack of a push broom or short length of a 2x4. Avoid squeezing adhesive through seams. Clean adhesive spots immediately with warm water. Cure for 12 hours before exposing to traffic or wet outdoor conditions. Clean-Up Fresh adhesive and tools can he cleaned with lukewarm, soapy water. Dried adhesive may he removed using mineral spirits. Important - Disclaimer of Warranties This adhesive is designed to work with floor coverings. The manufacturer cannot anticipate or control workmanship or particular job conditions such as type, absorbency, or condition of subfloor, temperature, humidity, air flow in the building, appropriate amount of adhesive application, appropriate trowel size for subfloor, open time, etc., There are no warranties (either express warranties or warranties of merchantability or fitness for use) -which extend beyond the description on the face of this product. It is solely the responsibility of the user to determine the suitability of this product and application instructions for the intended application. The installer should ensure that job conditions are acceptable for the use of this adhesive by making a test patch. The adhesive is sold "as is". TSC agrees to replace defective materials only if a claim is made in writing within 60 days of shipment.
